Caribbean Premier League 2021: Watch Fletcher Hit A No-Look Six

The 9th season of the Caribbean Premier League is kick start on August 26, and we have already seen many thrilling games so far in the CPL. We have also seen many unrealistic shots played by the batsman in the CPL. In yesterday’s match between Saint Lucia Kings and Trinbago Knight Riders, Saint Lucia Kings opening batsman Andre Fletcher played an incredible shot for a six.

Watch Andre Fletcher Hit A No-Look Six In The Caribbean Premier League

In the 5th over of Saint Lucia Kings’ inning, Andre Fletcher played a no-look shot for a six on Udana’s bowling. He did not even look after he made contact with the ball. Watch the video.

Summary of the match

Trinbago Knight Riders’ captain Kieron Pollard won the toss and invited the Saint Lucia Kings team to bat first on Warner Park’s pitch. Saint’s openers off to a fierce start as they added fifty runs partnership inside the powerplay. One of the most experienced Caribbean Premier League bowlers, Ravi Rampaul, produced the first breakthrough for Trinbago in the form of Cornwall. Cornwall played a handy cameo of 23 runs off 14 balls with the help of one 6s and four 4s.

Andre Fletcher, who played some stunning shots, failed to convert his start and got out on 28 runs. Ravi Rampaul strikes twice by removing Faf Du Plessis and Mark Deyal. Singapore batsman Tim David along with Rostan Chase started to take Saint’s inning back on track. With the effort of these two, Saint Lucia Kings reached a competitive total of 157 runs. Trinbago Knight Riders’ batsmen were very cautious at the start of the inning. They added only 35 runs for the loss of one wicket in the powerplay. Lendl Simmons and Munro stitched a valuable stand. However, they failed to take their team home. Simmons scored 25 runs off 30 balls. Munro scored 40* off 46 balls. Tim Seifert played a blistering cameo of 40 runs off 16 balls with the help of 3 sixes and five 4s, but that was not good enough as Trinbago Knight Riders lost the match by five runs. TKR has played 61 dot balls in this match.
