Gujarat Titans have drafted three players before the IPL auction. Hardik Pandya, Rashid Khan, and Shubman Gill are the drafted players of GT. GT entered the auction with INR 52 crore in their purse, and they brought 20 players in the IPL auction 2022. Lockie Ferguson, who was picked in INR 10 crore, was the costliest player of Gujarat Titans in the auction.

Gujarat Titans have brought Jason Roy into the auction at the base price of INR 2 crore. GT needs an explosive batter at the top-order, and Jason Roy is the ideal choice for this job. Last year, he was recruited in Sunrisers Hyderabad team as a replacement and scored 150 runs in 5 IPL matches. Jason Roy has played 13 IPL matches and scored 329 runs at an average of 29.90. He surely will be in the playing 11 as an overseas opening batter.
Shubman Gill, who was picked as a drafted player for INR 8 crore, is a highly rated Indian opening batter. Gill has capable of playing aggressive as well as anchor inning. The Right-handed batsman was a consistent run-scorer for the Kolkata Knight Riders. Gill has slammed 1417 runs at an average of 31.5 and a strike rate of 123.
Gujarat Titans have two wicket-keepers in their squad, and Wriddhiman Saha will play in playing 11 as another is an overseas wicket-keeper. Coming to his IPL stats, Saha has played 133 IPL matches and scored 2110 runs at a decent strike rate of 128.7.
4.Abhinav Manohar Sadarangani
Abhinav Manohar Sadarangani impressed everyone with his powerful hitting in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2021, the ideal choice in the middle order. Kolkata Knight Riders were very keen to include him in their squad. However, determined GT brought him in INR 2.60 crore. He has all the quality and talent to play in playing 11.
GT picked him in INR 1.40 crore in the IPL auction. The all-rounder can bowl in the middle orders and is versatile with the bat. Overall, he played 47 IPL matches and scored 712 runs, and he also picked nine wickets.

Hardik Pandya, who was picked ahead of mega auction via the draft as Mumbai Indians decided to let him go, will lead Gujarat Titans in their inaugural season of the Indian Premier League. The Powerful middle-order batsman has been superb for his last franchise. He has played 92 IPL matches and slammed 1476 runs at a tremendous strike rate of 153.9.
Rahul Tewatia is the costliest Indian player of GT in the auction. Rahul, who can bat and ball, will make his place in possible playing 11. He has scored 521 runs and took 32 wickets in 48 IPL matches.
Dominic Drakes is a bowling all-rounder from West Indies. The Left-arm medium-pacer joined Chennai Super Kings in 2021 as a replacement. Unfortunately, he did not play any game. GT has picked him in the auction and fit in playing XI of GT as Hardik may not bowl in the IPL.
Rashid Khan is one of the spinners every team wants to play in playing 11. He is phenomenal with his bowling and holds the record for best economy in the IPL. This year, he will play from a new franchise, Gujarat Titans. He has picked 93 wickets at an economy of 6.33 in 76 IPL matches.
Over the years, Mohammed Shami has become a phenomenal bowler for India and his IPL team. He can swing the new ball in the powerplay and bowl yorkers in death overs. Gujarat brought him INR 6.25 in the IPL auction, and he has played 77 IPL matches and picked 79 wickets.
Lockie Ferguson, the New Zealand fast bowler, can bowl 150+ Kmph consistently. At this moment, he is one of the quickest bowlers. Lockie has played 22 IPL games and picked 24 wickets. He will play in the playing 11 of GT. (source)
