The 2022 Asia Cup will kick off on Saturday, August 27 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, when Sri Lanka takes on Afghanistan in Group B. Pakistan will feature on the second day with their Group A match against India at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, starting at 06:00 PM (local). The tournament final will be played on September, 11 in Dubai.

Pakistan’s 15 Men Squad For 2022 Asia Cup
Babar Azam (c)
The no.1 T20 batsman in the latest ICC Men’s T20 ranking, Babar Azam has been phenomenal with the bat in the past few years. Azam has featured in 74 T20 games for Pakistan and smacked 2686 runs at a sublime average of 45.5 and strike rate of 129.40
The no.3 T20 batsman in the latest ICC Men’s T20 ranking, Mohammad Rizwan is a right-handed wicket-keeper batsman. Rizwan used to open Pakistan’s inning and compiled 1662 runs at a strike rate of 128.80 and a splendid average of over 50. Rizwan has also smashed one hundred in the International T20
Haider Ali is a right-handed batsman who used to play in the top-order for Pakistan in T20 cricket. He smashed 406 runs at a batting average of 23.90 and strike rate of 128.50 in 21 T20 games for Pakistan.
The Left-handed batter used to bat in the top order for Pakistan and scored 1253 runs in 65 T20I games at a strike rate of 131.60 and an average of 22.40.
Iftikhar Ahmed is a right-handed batsman and can bowl off-spin. Ahmed has appeared in 18 T20 games for Pakistan and added 271 runs at a strike rate of 134.20 and an average of 30.10. He would like to improve his stats in the 2022 Asia Cup.
Asif Ali, the right-handed batter has scored 435 runs at a strike rate of 133.80 and has a batting average of 17.40 in 38 International T20 games.
Since making his debut in 2019, Khushdil Shah has added 188 runs at a strike rate of 107.40 and an average of 23.50 in the 13 International T20 matches.
The talented all-rounder from Pakistan, Mohammad Nawaz has featured in 30 games for Pakistan and scored 123 runs at a strike rate of 133.70. He also bowl left-arm leg-spin and also picked 25 wickets for Pakistan in International T20 games.
Shadab Khan is a bowling all-rounder and has taken 73 wickets in T20I for Pakistan with a bowling strike rate of 18.40 and an average of 21.80. He also scored 275 runs in 26 T20 innings.
Mohammad Wasim Jnr
Mohammad Wasim Jnr is an all-rounder and took 17 wickets at a bowling strike rate of 11.70 and an average of 15.88 in 11 International T20 games for Pakistan
He is a right-handed fast bowler and has played 35 T20 games for Pakistan. Since making his first appearance in International T20, Haris has taken a total of 42 wickets at a bowling strike rate of 17.50 and an average of 24.90.
Pakistan selector surprised everyone by picking young Naseem Shah in place of Hasan Ali. Naseem has played 13 Test matches for Pakistan and picked 33 wickets.
Usman Qadir, the talented leg-spinner has featured in 18 T20I games and picked 24 wickets at a bowling average of 16.40 and strike rate of 13.
Shaheen Shah Afridi
Shaheen Shah Afridi will be holding the success key for the Pakistan team in the 2022 Asia Cup. The left-handed fast bowler has featured in 40 T20 matches for Pakistan and picked 47 scalps at a bowling strike rate of 18.80 and an average of 24.30.
Shahnawaz Dahani made his International T20 debut for Pakistan in 2021 and played 2 t20 games up to date and picked two wickets.
