RCB predicted XI: Devdutt Padikkal at No.1

Devdutt Padikkal who was one of the best-uncapped players in the last edition of the Indian Premier League in UAE was also the leading run-scorer for the RCB ahead of likes of AB De Villiers and Virat Kohli. He took the initiative every time to score fast runs despite Aaron Finch on the other side in IPL 2020. He had played all 15 games for RCB and smashed 473 runs with a strike rate of 124.8. RCB predicted 11: Josh Philippe at No.2

Another youngster, Josh Philippe was the third-highest run-getter in this year BBL with 508 runs. He smashed these runs with a strike rate of 149.41 and an average of 31.75. Despite the poor performance in the last season of IPL, RCB has shown faith in him by retaining him for IPL 2021.

RCB predicted XI: Virat Kohli at No.3

Virat Kohli who will at the crease at the fall of the first wicket is the biggest name in international cricket at this moment. In 2016, Virat Kohli with 973 runs under his belt, single Handley dragged his team in IPL’s final. However, his recent form in IPL fall by his standard. Virat Kohli is one of the best batsmen in IPL history with 5878 runs and a strike rate of 130.73 in 192 IPL games. We will try to do well in the upcoming season of IPL.

RCB predicted 11: ABD at No.4

Mr.360 will be the man to bat at no.4 for Royal Challengers Bangalore. AB DeVilliers has not shown any sign of rust despite having retired. He is known for his explosive and classical orthodox batting and will be crucial for RCB at the death overs of the match. ABD had played 169 IPL games and smashed 4849 runs with a strike rate of 151.91.

RCB predicted XI: Glenn Maxwell at No.5

Glenn Maxwell, the Royal Challengers Banglore newly added player in their squad. RCB took the gamble on Maxwell as they brought him for a whopping price of Rs.14.25 crores (4 crores more than the price brought by him last year) despite a very poor IPL 2020 season. He did not hit a single six during IPL 2020. However, his form for his national side is very good in recent times. It will be interesting to see Virat, ABD, and Maxwell in one team.

RCB predicted 11: Sachin Baby at No.6

RCB had released Shivam Dube and Gurkeerat Mann ahead of IPL 2021 and created a slot that is a bit of a problem for RCB. Players like Sachin Baby, Pavan Deshpande, Suyash Prabhudessai, Rajat Patidar, Mohammed Azharuddeen are available options for Royal Challengers Banglore. Sachin Baby had previously played for RCB during 2017. RCB can go for a bowling option also.

Washington Sundar who made his debut in 2017 from Rising Pune Supergiant, has established as economical, reliable with the ball, and extremely capable batsman over the years. He had a good season for RCB last year in UAE. He will be an important player in IPL 2021.

RCB predicted 11: Kyle Jamieson at No.8

RCB had brought Kyle Jamieson in a massive amount because of his remarkable performance in International cricket. Kyle has played 6 Test matches and took 36 wickets with an average of 13.27. He has an average of 56.5 with the bat also. He seems a good deal on paper. Now it will be interesting to see that RCB’s gamble of spending a significant amount of money on him will pay or not.

RCB predicted XI: Mohammed Siraj at No.9

Mohammed Siraj has played 35 games and picked 39 wickets with a best of 4/32. However, he has a high economy of 9.08. He has a decent last year of IPL season as he took 11 wickets from 9 games with a best of 3/8. Mohammed Siraj had good recent form and will be a key player for the Royal Challengers Bangaloreside.

RCB predicted 11: Navdeep Saini at No.10

Navdeep Saini has played 26 IPL matches so far and took 17 wickets. He will be the first choice along with Mohammed Siraj for Virat in the 14th edition of IPL.

RCB predicted XI: Yuzvendra Chahal at No.11

Yuzvendra Chahal is the biggest name in the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad after Virat Kohli and AB Devilliers. Since 2016, Chahal is part of the Royal Challengers Banglore squad. He has played 99 IPL matches and picked 121 wickets with an economy rate of 7.67. He had picked 21 wickets from 15 games last year in UAE. He will be a key player on Chinnaswamy’s surface.
