Rohit Sharma once again throws his wicket away after saw the initial period in the ongoing Border-Gavaskar Test series. India is expected a big inning from their Star Batsman as Australia posted a good total of 369 in their 1st inning. But Rohit failed to convert the start he got in his 1st Inning. The Australian team would be very happy with their bowling performance today.

Summary of Day 2 of 4th Test

Australian resumed day 2 with Tim Paine and Green at the crease. The Aussie captain Tim Paine had brought his second fifty of the series during the 1st session of Day 2. In the very next over he was dismissed on 50 runs by Shardul Thakur. After that debutant, Sundar picked his second wicket by departing Cameron Green on 47. Australia lost three quick wickets and was 315 for 8. However, with some brief resilience from Australia’s lower-order, Australia managed to post a score of 369. Debutant Natarajan was the top performer from the Indian side as he picked three wickets. Washington Sundar and Shardul Thakur also picked three-wicket each.

Update on Navdeep Saini’s return

Navdeep Saini got injured on 1st Day of the ongoing Test Match. BCCI on social media updated about Saini’s availability and said that Navdeep Saini was being monitored by the medical team after complaining of pain in his groin. A second update by the Board confirmed that the Saini went for scans later in the day. Navdeep’s return for the 2nd innings could be a big boost for India.
