The right-arm fast bowler has made his first appearance for India in the T20I format in 2016 and since then he has taken 69 wickets in International T20 cricket with an economy of 6.46. He has a bowling strike rate of 18.1 and an average of 19.05 in this format.

#2. Pat Cummins

The Australian Fast Bowler has played 39 International T20 matches for Australia and picked 44 wickets with an economy rate of 7.05. Cummins made his T20 debut for Australia in 2011 and has a bowling strike rate of 19.4 in the T20I format. He can become the highest wicket-taker in the upcoming World Cup 2022 Cricket.

#3. Wanindu Hasaranga 

The bowling all-rounder from Sri Lanka, Wanindu Hasaranga, was the highest wicket-taker in the previous edition of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in 2021 and would like to repeat his previous in this year’s T-20 WC too. The Right-arm leg spinner has played 38 T20 games for Sri Lanka and picked 62 wickets at a bowling average of 14.1 and strike rate of 12.8. He has an economy rate of 6.61 in International T20.

#4. Shaheen Afridi

Shaheen Afridi performed exceptionally well in the last edition of World Cup T-20 in UAE. He has played 40 T20I matches and took 47 wickets at a strike rate of 18.8 and an average of 24.3.

#5. Yuzvendra Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal did not play any T-20 World Cup. But he has plenty of experience in handling pressure in tournaments like this. Chahal’s first appearance for India in T-20 came in 2016. He has picked 79 wickets at a bowling average of 23.9 and strike rate of 17.7 in 62 T20I games for India.
