Hey! Friends, today we are going to share the complete WC T20 2022 Schedule for the matches that will be played at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground. The ICC Men’s T20 WC 2022 will undergo from October, 16 and will be played till November, 13. A total of 16 teams lock horns with each -other to achieve the ultimate glory.
A total of 45 T20 games will be played during this marquee tournament across seven venues. The defending champion, Australia will host the eighth edition of the ICC T20 World Cup for the first time in T20 WC history.
How Many Matches will be Played at Melbourne Cricket Ground?
One of the most iconic cricket stadiums in the World, Melbourne Cricket Ground also known as MCG will host seven games including the grand Final on November, 13. The ground has a total seating capacity of 1,00,024 people and is situated in Yarra Park, Melbourne.
T20 2022 Schedule For Matches Played at MCG
Melbourne Cricket Ground will host the high-voltage game between India and Pakistan on October, 23, starting at 07:00 PM (local time). After that MCG, we host a double-header game on October, 26 with England’s first taking on runner-up from first round’s Group B, starting at 03:00 PM (local time) and then, followed by New Zealand and Afghanistan game from 07:00 PM (local).
On October, 28 Melbourne Cricket Ground will host another double-header game involving Afghanistan and runner-up from the first round’s Group B in the afternoon game, starting at 03:00 PM (local) and followed by a blockbuster game between England and Australia.
Next, MCG will host the last game of the Super 12 stage involving India and the topper from the first round’s Group B, starting at 7:00 PM (local) on November, 6, as per WC T20 2022 Schedule.
