Welcome, we are going to share the complete WC T20 Schedule 2022 for the games that will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground. The battle lines have been drawn for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia. The 16 teams have been divided into two rounds; first, a qualification round will be played among eight teams between October, 16 to October, 21, and the second will be a super 12 stage that will be played between October, 22 to November, 6.
A total of 12 games will be played in the qualification round and 30 games will be played in the Super 12 stage. Two venues will be used for the qualification round and six venues will be used for the Super 12 stage. The Grand Final will be held on Sunday, November, 13.
How Much Matches Will Be Played at SCG
A total of seven matches including a semi-final will be played at Sydney Cricket Ground. Sydney Cricket Ground is also known as SCG has a seating capacity of 48000 people. Sydney Cricket Ground is situated at Moore Park, Sydney.
T20 Schedule 2022 For Matches at Sydney Cricket Ground
The Sydney Cricket Ground will host a re-match of last edition’s ICC T20 World Cup Final as New Zealand will take on Australia on October, 22, starting at 06:00 PM (local). On October, 27, SCG will host a double-header game involving South Africa and Bangladesh in the afternoon game from 02:00 PM (local time) and then, followed by a game between India and the runner-up from the first round’s Group A, starting at 06:00 PM (local).
SCG then host a big match involving Pakistan and South Africa in action on November, 3. The game is scheduled to start at 07:00 PM (local). Sydney Cricket Ground then hosts England and the top qualifier from the first round’s Group A game on November, 5 from 07:00 PM onwards.
The first semi-final of the 2022 T20 WC will be hosted by Sydney Cricket Ground on November, 9, starting at 07:00 PM (local time), as per WC T20 Schedule 2022.
