1. AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers is the best finisher in the Indian Premier League with a staggering strike rate of 233.1 in death overs. He has racked up 1254 runs with an average of 39.2 in 67 innings in death overs. He has smashed 235 sixes in his IPL career and on 2nd spot on the list of maximum sixes hit by a batsman in IPL after Chris Gayle. ABD is number 1 in terms of the highest strike rate with a minimum of 150 IPL innings. He is in the 10th spot in the overall highest strike rate in IPL with a strike rate of 151.91.

Kieron Pollard along with Hardik and Krunal, Mumbai Indians have one of the most dangerous lower-middle orders in IPL. Kieron Pollard has scored 1487 runs with a strike rate of 185.4 in 100 innings in death overs. Pollard with 214 sixes, is on 5th on the list of maximum sixes in IPL.

4. Andre Russell

In recent years, Andre Russell has evolved himself as one of the destructive batsmen in the shorter format. Andre Russell has the capability to become the best finisher in IPL history in upcoming years. In death overs, Russell has scored 665 runs with a strike rate of 218 in 38 innings. His six-hitting ability make his way into this list.

5. Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya who is currently India’s number 1 finisher at this moment, is going strength to strength in becoming the best finisher in the Indian Premier League. Hardik might not look like a muscular man by physic. However, he is one of the cleanest strikers in Cricket. He played 55 innings in death over and scored 836 runs with a strike rate of 192.2. He is now an integral part of MI’s middle-lower with Kieron Pollard. He could become the best finisher in IPL history in the next few years.
